Aaaaaarrrgggh, there has only been one game that angers me as much as Pac-Man World. It’s probably not so hard now, but when I was a kid I regularly swore and cursed this game to the plains of Oblivion. There was one level that I never got through, it was some boss battle in the space section and I just couldn’t get past it no matter how hard I tried. I can’t say how many times I threw down my controller and nerd raged for a bit.
Hmmm … I might have to plug in my PS1 again and play this again, banish my childhood demon …. uh spaceboss.
Join us tomorrow for day 29!
Well, there’s plenty of games from my childhood, but the one I remember playing when I was very little still was Syphon Filter 2 on the PS1. I never actually got far in the game, but I loved it so much. I can’t really say why because I’m pretty sure I understood very little of it, but I guess it was just a period in my life where shooting guns, and tasing people until they became charred corpses was what I liked. Also, killer soundtrack.
Anyway, let me know what you think after watching the trailer below, and see you tomorrow for day 24!
The first game I ever truly finished was Battle Arena Toshinden on the ps1. It was a pretty mediocre game really with limbs floating apart from each other and weird voice acting. Nevertheless, it’s what really got me into gaming in the first place and I finally managed to finish it (which in retrospect isn’t a very great achievement, though it seemed like it back when I was 7).
Anyway, watch the clip below and tune in tomorrow for day 4 of the 30 day game challenge
