We all know The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be awesome. I mean come on, it’s from the same guys that brought us Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout. It looks like Bethesda has really listened to the fans after Oblivion and decided to fix some issues and added more features. For instance, you can actually run properly in 3rd person view rather than glide across the terrain like in Oblivion.
E3 brought a lot of exciting new revelations about all kinds of games, but the gameplay trailer and interview with one of the devs of Skyrim is the one thing that really drew my attention. The skills are awesome, dragon shouts sound and look incredibly cool, the dragons themselves are awesome (and unscripted, and as a result unpredictable!). Not to mention the fact that you can choose what to wield in which hand. Dual-wielding swords? it’s possible! Magic in one hand, or both hands for more powerful spellcasts? Also possible, and it doesn’t stop there. Apparently, there’s at least 300 hours of gameplay in Skyrim, and a lot more if you can modding and replay value.
Watch the gameplay for yourself below and let me know what you think about it in the comment section below.
